Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 5, 2026.
At Nicene, we take your privacy as seriously as we take your theology.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to improve your training:

  • Account information (Email, Username)
  • Theological trial data (Your inputs and defenses)
  • Performance metrics (ELO, Accuracy scores)

2. How We Use Your Data

Your theological arguments are used to:

  • Provide real-time feedback and grading.
  • Train our AI models to better detect heresies and logical fallacies.
  • Rank you on the global leaderboard (anonymized unless you opt-in).

3. Data Stewardship

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We are stewards, not mercernaries. Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption.

4. AI Processing

By using Nicene, you acknowledge that your inputs are processed by Artificial Intelligence models for evaluation. While we strive for accuracy, the AI's theological judgments should be verified against Scripture and Tradition.
